US publication PR News recognises Spada’s international capabilities in its latest Legal PR Awards
February 2009 – Leading professional services PR consultancy, Spada, has scooped another award. Its 2008 Air Passenger campaign for US class action law firm Cohen Milstein has received an Honourable Mention in the Litigation Communications category of PR News’ Legal PR Awards.
In February 2008 Spada communicated to UK and international media a ground-breaking legal settlement involving airline giants, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic, $200 million of compensation, and 5.6 million UK airline passengers. Co-ordinated between San Francisco, Washington and London, Spada’s campaign resulted in widespread media coverage, positively endorsing a decision that would help to bring about collective redress for UK inhabitants, unable to pursue class action lawsuits within their own jurisdiction. Spada’s Managing Director, Gavin Ingham Brooke collected the award at the PR News CSR Awards Luncheon at the Press Club in Washington DC on 26th February.
This is the latest in a series of awards for Spada, who were last year named ‘PR Agency of the Year’ at the Legal Marketing Awards.
