May 2009 – Spada’s PR campaign for Hausfeld & Co’s Air Passenger Victory case has won the professional service firms category of the SABRE Awards. These highly coveted, pan-European awards, are organised by the publishers of The Holmes Report. Winners were announced at a gala dinner on 21st May in Stockholm, attended by over 400 people.
This is the latest in a slew of awards for Spada. The agency’s property PR and research capabilities were recognised at Estates Gazette’s Property Marketing awards in April, where Spada took home the ‘best of the best’ Victor Ludorum award, as well as winning the Research category. Earlier this year, Spada received an Honourable Mention in the Litigation Communications category of PR News’ Legal PR Awards in New York. Spada is also the Legal Marketing Awards’ current ‘Best PR Agency of the Year’
In February 2008 Spada communicated to UK and international media a ground-breaking legal settlement involving airline giants, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic, $200 million of compensation, and 5.6 million UK airline passengers. Co-ordinated between San Francisco, Washington and London, Spada’s campaign resulted in widespread media coverage, positively endorsing a decision that would help to bring about collective redress for UK inhabitants, unable to pursue class action lawsuits within their own jurisdiction. Spada’s Managing Director, Gavin Ingham Brooke, comments: “We are delighted to win this prestigious award. It is excellent to see the cutting edge work we do with our clients recognised by respected industry barometers such as the Holmes Report.”
