Spada shortlisted for Professional Services PR Award

Spada shortlisted as finalist in SABRE Awards for Cohen Milstein Air Passenger compensation campaign

April 2009 – Spada’s PR campaign for law firm Cohen, Milstein, Hausfeld & Toll’s (now Hausfeld & Co) Air Passenger settlement has been shortlisted as a finalist in the professional service firms category of the SABRE Awards. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 21st May in Stockholm.

This follows Spada, a leading professional services PR consultancy, receiving an Honourable Mention in the Litigation Communications category of PR News’ Legal PR Awards in New York last month, for the same campaign.

In February 2008 Spada communicated to UK and international media a ground-breaking legal settlement involving airline giants, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic, $200 million of compensation, and 5.6 million UK airline passengers.  Co-ordinated between San Francisco, Washington and London, Spada’s campaign resulted in widespread media coverage, positively endorsing a decision that would help to bring about collective redress for UK inhabitants – unable to pursue class action lawsuits within their own jurisdiction. Spada’s Managing Director, Gavin Ingham Brooke, comments: “It is excellent to see the cutting edge work we do with our clients recognised by respected industry barometers such as the Holmes Report. We look forward to the awards in May.”

Spada is also the Legal Marketing Awards’ current ‘PR Agency of the Year’.
