January 2010 – Spada’s achievements over the last year have been recognised in a series of awards spanning the professional services and environmental arenas in both the UK and the US.
In May 2009 Spada won the professional service firms category of the SABRE Awards for its campaign promoting US class action law firm Cohen Milstein’s (now Hausfeld & Co) Air Passenger Victory case. These highly coveted, pan-European awards are organised by the publishers of The Holmes Report, a well-respected insider’s guide to the communications industry.
At the Property Marketing Awards 2009, held in April and sponsored by leading B2B trade magazine, Estates Gazette, Spada took home the prestigious ‘Best of the Best’ Victor Ludorum prize. Spada also won the Research category for its work on ‘Behind the Green Façade’ – Taylor Wessing’s Sustainability Report. This research into the development industry’s views and attitudes towards environmental policy issues and legislation is believed to be the most comprehensive of its kind undertaken to date.
The year ended with a bang as ‘Behind the Green Façade’ also received an accolade at the B2B Marketing Awards 2009 in late November. The research and associated public relations campaign secured Spada the runner-up position in the ‘Best Public Relations Campaign’ category.
Across the Atlantic, Spada received an Honourable Mention in the Litigation Communications category of PR News’ Legal PR Awards for its 2008 Air Passenger campaign for US class action law firm Cohen Milstein.
Spada’s Managing Director, Gavin Ingham Brooke, comments: “We are delighted to have won these awards. It is excellent to see the cutting edge work we do with our clients recognised by respected industry barometers.”
